Having talked with dozens of men, I have come to a conclusion: there is nothing special in Russian ladies - except for a different culture.
We are simply brought up under different conditions and thus the way of life we are used to is absolutely different and of course it finds its reflection on the relations between two people. We have grown up in small apartments with very thin walls. A family in three generations, could perfectly get on in a small two-room flat. According to western standards this flat is too small even for one person to say nothing of a family.
The condition of permanent density brings up the "feeling of comradeship" when, even if you don't want it you have to associate with other people. We are used to that kind of situation when one depends on the majority. Russian people, and especially Russian ladies, have a surprising ability for adaptation. You won't be able to hear the proverb "A man is not a dog - he can get used to everything" anywhere but in Russia.
(I in general love Russian proverbs and sayings and rather frequently I try to translate into English those from them, that seem to suit the situation. But unfortunately the essence of the proverb is very often lost upon the foreign public. I suppose it happens because of the difference in our outlook.)
A Russian person can easily stand a situation that seems unbearable to a western person.
