Unfortunately, we do not know the name of that heroic woman which 307 years ago, in August, 21, 1695 in the solid English merchant edition "How to improve an economy and trade" has published personal ad under a pseudonym. It was the first paid ad of such kind. We do not know also, what was her age of that desperate lady and how she looked, and what exactly has pushed her to commit such a "feat". However, in hundred years after the first experience of similar invitations to acquaintance - personal ads - strongly occupied pages of every possible newspapers and magazines in Europe and America. To tell the truth, at that time basically, men gave such announcements. As for the women, it was considered indecent. What's interesting not the color of hair or slenderness of brides attracted men but their public status and an economic situation.
Today such sections in newspapers, journals and online have strongly taken the place all over the world. Moreover, in accordance with market economy rules, this phenomenon already has had time to go through spontaneous boom, decrease of interest, structurization of the demand - offer and formation of precise market segments of business of dating services. These are publications in MASS-MEDIA, and announcements on radio, and "a creeping line" on the TV screen, both various marriage agencies, and the Internet. The new phenomenon has appeared - the experts investigating it have appeared also. Basically it is psychologists and sociologists who study sphere of family relations or problems of loneliness of people in mega cities.
